El programa incluirá obras de Chopin, Brahms y Rachmaninov. James Rhodes, «el enfant terrible de la música clásica», pianista español nacido en Gran Bretaña, conocido por su carisma, talento y estilo de «stand-up» en el escenario, ofrece una experiencia distinta a los recitales tradicionales. En sus conciertos, Rhodes interactúa directamente con el público, hablando de las obras que interpreta, por qué las eligió y el contexto en el que se compusieron. Además, comparte la historia de su vida y cómo la música, en especial la de Bach, le ayudó a superar obstáculos. Interpreta piezas de compositores como Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Schubert y Beethoven. James Rhodes es un apasionado de la música clásica que se ha convertido en un importante divulgador a nivel mundial. Su carrera despegó en 2009, cuando su primer mánager lo animó a grabar su primer CD. Desde entonces, ha publicado numerosos álbumes y libros, incluyendo su exitoso libro ‘Instrumental. Memorias de música, medicina y locura’ y actualmente tiene su propio programa el La SER “En Clave De Rhodes”. Su particular estilo le ha permitido atraer a nuevos públicos, actuando en festivales de música pop y recintos poco convencionales así como en las principales salas de conciertos internacionales: Koerner Hall Toronto, Elbphilhamonie Hamburgo, The Queen Elizabeth Hall Londres, El Liceu Barcelona, Musikverein Viena, Teatro Real Madrid, The Barbican Londres y muchos más desde Australia hasta Hong Kong.
