Para hablar de El Consorcio es inevitable remitirse a Mocedades, ya que todos sus integrantes pertenecieron a ese grupo. Ellos son la única formación hispana que ha vendido más de un millón de copias de un sencillo cantado íntegramente en castellano.
El Consorcio, formado por Estíbaliz Uranga, Amaya Uranga, Iñaki Uranga, y Carlos Zubiaga, es el grupo vocal por excelencia de nuestro país y sus grandes éxitos permanecen hoy en día. “Tómame o déjame”, “El vendedor”, “La otra España”, “Qué pasará mañana”, “Secretaria”, “Quién te cantará”, “Desde que tú te has ido”, “Amor de hombre”, “Dónde estás corazón”, “Le llamaban loca”… marcan su extensa e intensa trayectoria con más de cinco décadas de historia de la música española.
“ERES TU”, canción compuesta por Juan Carlos Calderón, supuso uno de sus mayores éxitos de su carrera. Canción con la que obtuvieron con Mocedades el segundo puesto de Eurovisión en 1973.
Sus magníficas voces, con un empaste y una calidad sin igual, los llevaron a conquistar un Grammy Latino en 2016.
