‘Piensa en Wilbur’ es un espectáculo plagado de acrobacias, humor, y riesgo, mucho riesgo: la única manera en la que Wilbur sabe vivir. Con una técnica y un físico fuera de lo común, creará situaciones imposibles que dejarán al público anonadado. Acompañado de sus amigos inseparables: Contractura, Tirón y Desgarro nos demostrará que la acrobacia no es solo un deporte. Un espectáculo que impactará en el público (literalmente).
Víctor Ortiz (1981, Alicante), más conocido como Wilbur, es gimnasta, actor y artista de circo. Con tan solo cinco años se inició por casualidad en el mundo de la gimnasia artística. Especialista en aparatos de suelo, salto y barra, fue perfeccionando su técnica hasta llegar a competir al lado de gimnastas como Gervasio Deferr o Oriol Combarros. A los 16 años, se quedó a las puertas del CAR de Madrid, pero decidió seguir entrenando, llegando a proclamarse campeón de España de acrosport.
Entrenando en su Alicante natal, conoció al malabarista ‘Piti’ con el que empezó a actuar. De hecho, su nombre artístico Wilbur surge 10 minutos antes de una actuación en Elche, leyendo panfletos de publicidad. A partir de ese momento, decide que su vida va a ser el circo, llegando a formar parte del Cirque du Soleil como acróbata.
‘Piensa en Wilbur’ es su primer espectáculo unipersonal. Un show que ha ido creciendo con el tiempo y que ha hecho disfrutar a miles de espectadores. De hecho, miles de ellos le siguen también en sus redes sociales, en las que acumula más de 900.000 seguidores -entre Instagram y TikTok-.
